It is responsible for the administration of the elections for the organs of local government; it is responsible for posting, revising, and approving the preliminary voter lists of the respective municipality or commune, according to the rules provided in this Code and the instructions of the CEC.
It sets the polling unit boundaries in the municipality or commune in cooperation with the organs of local government.
It performs in an analogous manner the same duties that this Code contemplates for a ZEC.
In case of parliamentary elections, it sends the revised voter lists to the ZEC.
