Paragraph 126

During the 2008 parliamentary elections, the CEC made some efforts to consolidate information on complaints and appeals lodged at the various levels of the election administration. However, the information was not adequately consolidated into a usable database (for instance, relevant information for understanding the issues and reasoning of decisions was not included) nor was it updated on a timely basis or made public for increased transparency. Furthermore, the information did not include cases lodged in the various courts.
