29. Section 53 confers power to make regulations concerning registration. Accordingly, the CCR Order 45, concerning the Representation of the People Act 1983, establishes the procedure for appealing from decisions of registration officers (Rule 2) and rules cases of selected appeals (Rule 3).[10]
