Article 43 (4) provides for nullification of subscription lists drawn up before the beginning date of the period of nomination of candidates. However, it is unclear whether the presence of some signatures collected before the beginning of the period of nomination of candidates, regardless of their number, would serve as the basis for nullifying the rest of the signatures on the same list, even if those were collected within the legal period. The Code should clearly indicate that only the signatures collected outside the legal period should be disqualified.
