II. Comments on the text of the draft law
J. Voting, counting and establishment of results
The CEC establishes the results of the election in the nationwide and single-mandate districts no later than on the tenth day following election day. The content of the CEC protocols must immediately be published on the CEC website. It is recommended to include a specific requirement that all PEC and DEC protocols are also published on the CEC website. This would substantially enhance transparency and public confidence in the election process. It would also promote compliance with paragraph 7.4 of the OSCE Copenhagen Document.[1]
[1]Participating States will ensure that ballots “are counted and reported honestly with the official results made public.”
