Right to vote
(1) All men and women who are Austrian citizens are entitled to vote provided they have reached the age of 16 on the day of the election and have not been deprived of their right to vote.
(2) Irrespective of the voting age, the decision as to whether the conditions set out in para 1 apply is to be made in respect of the qualifying date (§ 1, para 2).
