Article 19
 

19.1. The Institute or the corresponding Local Public Body will prepare the draft opinion and will resolve on the matter, in a period of sixty days after it received the registration request.


19.2. Where appropriate, it will issue the corresponding certi f cate con f rming the registration. In the event of a refusal, the causes motivating it will be explained and communicated to the interested parties. The registration of the political parties will take effect on the f rst day of the month of July of the year prior to the election.


19.3. The resolution should be published in the Of f cial Gazette of the Federation or in the Official Gazette of the state in question, as applies, and could be appealed to the Electoral Tribunal or the competent local jurisdictional authority.
