(Supplemented, SG No. 39/2016, effective 26.05.2016) The members of the section election commission shall be excused from the official duties or labour duties thereof for the day preceding the elections, for polling day and for the succeeding day. During that time, the said persons shall use, at their choice, an unpaid service leave which shall be assimilated to the length of employment-service or civil-service seniority or, at their request, the paid annual leave to which they are entitled. Sentence two shall not apply to the members of section election commissions abroad who are posted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The posting order shall be presented to the employer or, respectively, the appointing authority of the posted person.
