Authorities and others who assisted in connection with the election shall provide the Election Review Board with the information and statements requested by the Board.

If the Election Review Board considers that it is necessary for someone to be questioned as a witness at court, the Board can order a witness hearing to be held at a district court.

Chapter 35, Sections 10 and 11 of the Code of Judicial Procedure apply when taking evidence under the second paragraph. Compensation to witnesses shall be paid by public funds. Costs for this shall be borne by the state.
