Electoral materials


Concurrent with sending ballot papers to the local electoral commission, the senior electoral commission shall have Braille cards accompanying each lot, cf. paragraph 2 of Article 81, as well as a notification concerning the electoral list, an election guidebook, and a special edition of this Act, cf. Article 77.


This consignment shall be accompanied by strong envelopes with the address of the senior electoral commission printed on them [or, as the case may be, the regional electoral commission]1). Each local electoral commission shall be given six envelopes with the following text printed on their lower right-hand corners: two of these envelopes shall have the text, ‘Spoiled ballots' two of them the text, ‘Disputed ballots' and two of them the text, ‘Left-over ballots'.


These envelopes must each be large enough to hold all of the ballot papers from each of these categories; the other envelopes function as spare envelopes. In addition to this, the senior electoral commission shall have a large and strong envelope with its address printed on it [or, as the case may be, the regional electoral commission]; the name of the polling ward should be printed on the front upper corner of this envelope, and the other envelopes should be placed inside it. The senior electoral commission shall at the same time send to each local electoral commission a certified election log book to be used during the election, if it does not possess one already, or appropriate forms, cf. paragraph 1 of Article 19.


[The senior electoral commission shall also send to the regional electoral commission the proper envelopes, cf. paragraphs 2 and 3, as applicable.]1)
