(1) The President of Parliament shall, within three days of receipt of the notification, inform the ruling and the opposition political parties to submit proposals for members of the State Election Commission, in line with Article 27, paragraphs (4) and (5) of this Code.
(2) Should the political parties fail to determine and submit the names of the candidates for members of the State Election Commission, within the deadline stipulated in paragraph (1) of this Article, the members of the State Election Commission shall be proposed by the Parliamentary Committee on Election and Appointment Affairs.
