Adoption and Publication of the Decision on Holding Local Referendum
(1) Within 15 days after submitting the signature collecting lists or after the adoption of a decision by the local council, by the representative authority of the territorial-administrative unit or by the mayor, the respective local council or the representative authorities of special status territorial-administrative unit shall either approve or reject the proposal to hold the local referendum.
(2) The decision on holding the referendum shall contain: a) proposal on the date of the referendum (no sooner than one month and no later than 45 days of the day the decision was adopted); b) questions proposed for referendum; c) the reasons for recalling the mayor, where a referendum to that effect is proposed.
