Perhaps due to the often short electoral period, the Voter List is supposed to be maintained on a current basis by municipal authorities. Within three days after an election is called, those authorities must inform citizens that they can inspect the Voter List and request corrections. Thereafter, Voter List commissions are formed in the various municipalities to consider requests for correction of the Voter List and also to issue voting certificates for voters who are temporarily residing away from home.[30]
