The right to nominate candidates In parliamentary elections, candidates can be nominated by: political parties;  registered voters who have founded a constituency association. When they nominate candidates, two or more parties can form an electoral alliance by  mutual agreement. Similarly, two or more constituency associations can form a joint list.
