44. Electoral boards will also be composed of a president and four members, with deputies, appointed by the relevant MEC. Electoral boards’ presidents and deputy presidents will be selected at random from state employees, and other electoral board members similarly from the ranks of other public employees with four years experience in their jobs. EB members should also “as a rule” be residents of the municipality in which the EB is located (Article 38.).
