Apart from the transitional provisions (see below) the Law will enter into force on 1 October 2007. The requirement on the CEC to ensure the adoption of appropriate regulations and other subordinate legislation takes effect from the date of official publication of the Law. It is expected the Cabinet of Ministers will also have to develop a number of regulations to implement the law.
