If a mayor is not elected after the second round for whatever reasons, the Election Commission shall notify the Government of the Republic of Macedonia within 15 days following the completion of the elections.
The Government of the Republic of Macedonia shall appoint a trustee to perform the duties of a mayor within 15 days following the receipt of the notification referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article.
The Government of the Republic of Macedonia shall notify the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia no later than 15 days following the appointment of the trustee, in order to announce mayoral elections.
