To republican referendum may be subjected the following issues:
adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova;
approval of the constitutional laws passed by the Parliament for the amendment of the provisions on the sovereign, independent and unitary character of the state, as well as on the permanent neutrality of the state;
other important issues of the society and the state.

Organization and unfolding of referendum regarding the issues pointed out in paragraph (1) entry b) shall be mandatory.
