(Prohibition of Entry of Foreigners)


(1) The Minister of Justice may prohibit a foreigner from entering the Republic of Korea, if he/she has a reasonable ground to believe that the foreigner committed an act prohibited by this Act: Provided, That the foregoing shall not apply to a foreigner who intends to enter the Republic of Korea in response to summons for investigations.


(2) The National Election Commission may notify the Minister of Justice of foreigners who are prohibited from entering the Republic of Korea under
paragraph (1).


(3) The period of prohibition of entry under paragraph (1) shall end on the last day of the term of office of the person elected from the relevant election.


(4) The Immigration Control Act shall apply mutatis mutandis to the procedure for the prohibition of entry under paragraph (1).
