Subject to the provisions of the next following section, a person shall be entitled to be registered as a voter for the election of Members of the House if, and shall not be entitled to be registered unless, he has the qualifications required by section 57 of the Constitution and provided he is not so disqualified in terms of section 58 of the Constitution or in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
