Finally, it is to be noted that the draft law repeals Article 41 of the LGE which regulates the auditing of campaign spending. In other words, auditing of party and campaign financing would exclusively be regulated by the LFPE. Such a more streamlined approach, which prevents any possible inconsistencies between different regulations, is to be welcomed.
