(1) The election campaign may start 30 days before voting day and must end no later than 24 hours before the polling day.

(2) When the President of the National Assembly shall submit the initiative to collect citizens' signatures for a referendum, to be organized by special publicity about the collection of signatures. Special publicity conducted from the beginning until the completion of the collection of signatures and can be organized by the applicant.

(3) The President of the National Assembly in an appropriate manner, provide public notice of the initiation of the deadline for collecting signatures. Radio Television Slovenia should ensure the free publication of this notice.

(4) Special notification from the second and third paragraphs of this article for the referendum campaign on the local level carried out in the local manner.
