The members of the section election commission shall be excused from the official duties thereof for the day prior to the elections, for the election day and for the subsequent day. During that time the said persons shall use an unpaid service leave which shall count as labour or civil experience or, at their request, the paid annual leave to which they are entitled. The second sentence shall not apply to the members of the section election commissions abroad, commissioned by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The commission order shall be submitted to the employer or the appointing authority of the commissioned person.
