Right to Dispute


(1) The candidates for President and Vice President of the Republic, the parties, coalitions of parties, and the nomination committee who have registered candidates in the elections, may dispute the legitimacy of the elections of President and Vice President of the Republic before the authorities referred to in Art. 150 Para. 1 of the Constitution, within seven days after the decision for announcement of the election results is made public by the Central Election Commission.
(2) Within 15 days after the public announcement of the election results by the Central Election Commission, the authorities referred to in Art. 150 Para. 1 of the Constitution, acting on the received claim under Para. 1 or on its own initiative, may approach the Constitutional Court with a reasoned petition to pronounce on the legitimacy of the elections of a President and Vice President of the Republic.
