Recount of votes 

On the Monday following the election day at 12.00 at the latest, a recount of the election day votes and checking of the calculations made by the election boards and, in cases referred to in section 82, subsection 4, the calculations by the central municipal election boards shall be commenced. In the recount of the votes, it shall be decided which votes for a candidate are regarded as valid and which votes are disregarded as invalid.

The valid votes for each candidate given both in the advance voting and on election day shall be counted.
