In any event, while the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure permit the absence of Members of Parliament in cases where they boycott sittings or sessions, the proposed Article 30 (6) would suspend public funding for political parties for a period of six months. This would create a contradiction between the Law on Political Associations on the one hand and the Rules of Procedure on the other, and also within the Rules of Procedure.
