There is also a proposed amendment to Article 224 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Georgia, which would fully deduct the salary of a Member of Parliament who does not attend without good reason all plenary sittings during a calendar month of the regular session. The salary would also be fully deducted during the recess period if the member does not attend without good reason all plenary sittings of the regular session before the recess.
