As in national referendums, there is usually no limit on the number of questions asked at the same time. In Armenia there cannot be more than one question per ballot, and in Portugal, no more than three. Alternative replies are also allowed in Russia, as well as in Switzerland and Austria on the basis of the law of the federate entities.
