(1) The annual financial statements drawn up by the political parties which receive subsidies from the state budget shall be subject to the statutory audit conducted by statutory auditors who may be certified natural or legal persons, according to law.

(2) Within a maximum of 60 days from the audit date, the political parties referred to in paragraph (1) shall transmit to the Permanent Electoral Authority a copy of the audit report.
