(1) In referendums, advance voting is possible in accordance with the rules of Part 8 regarding general elections, but see subsections (2) to (6).
(2) The words ”Yes” and ”No” shall be printed, clearly separated, on the advance ballot papers.
(3) Voting procedures shall be as specified in section 99(3).
(4) At referendums the advance casting of votes at the designated place or places in the municipality where any voter can vote in advance, see section 53, shall take place within the last six weeks prior to polling day, however not later than on the third-to-last working day, including Saturdays, prior to polling day. The advance casting of votes at the places set out in section 54 and section 58(4) can take place during the period of the three weeks preceding polling day until and including the third-to-last working day, including Saturdays, prior to polling day.
(5) Personal assistance with regard to filling in the ballot paper will be available only if the voter is immediately able to unambiguously indicate to the person(s) providing personal assistance whether the voter would like to vote yes or no to the question before them.
(6) Vote receivers and persons providing personal assistance in connection with the advance voting process shall not advise or encourage a voter in connection with the advance voting process as to whether to vote yes or no to the question before them.
(7) The Minister for the Interior and Health may lay down more detailed rules governing the content of the advance voting material and its layout. The Minister for the Interior and Health may lay down more detailed rules governing the organisation and carrying out of the advance voting process and procedures in connection therewith. The Minister for the Interior and Health may lay down rules on aids to be provided during the advance voting process. The Minister for the Interior and Health may lay down rules governing the content of the logbook and its layout.
