(1) The time limit for submitting and assessing applications for legal remedy relating to signature gathering and the verification of signatures shall be five days. If the last day of the time limit falls on a day other than a working day, the time limit shall expire on the next working day.

(2) The local election commission shall be responsible for assessing objections relating to signature gathering. An appeal challenging a conclusive decision by the local election commission shall be assessed by the regional election commission.
