Meetings and activities of the Central Electoral Commission

(1) The meetings of the Central Electoral Commission shall be convened by its Chair­person on his/her own initiative or at the request of three members of the Commission. If the Members of the Commission request that the meeting shall be convened, the de­cision to convene meeting shall be taken no later than 48 hours after the request has been made.

(2) Meetings at the Central Electoral Commission shall be deliberated if the absolute majority of its members attend it.

(3) All the Central Electoral Commission meetings shall be opened to the represen­tatives of Media and to the public. Information on the meetings shall be published at least 24 hours before they are being held, with the exception of meetings held during the electoral period, when they are announced on a short notice, due to the fact that the issues need an urgent examination.

(4) The Central Electoral Commission shall ensure the transparency of electoral pro­cedures, which enables the Media and the people to assess the Commission’s activities.
