In the present Opinion, the Venice Commission wishes to emphasise that while the above recommendations relating to the provisions on the limitation of the activity of the political party, as a precautionary measure, and the dissolution of the party, as well as to the procedural guarantees, concern specifically the case of successor parties, they also apply to all the other grounds for imposing such measures on political parties which are foreseen in these provisions.
