The Decision of the Central Electoral Commission on Conducting the Second Round for the Elections of the President of the Republic

1. If more than two candidates were running, and none of them has received the required number of votes, on the fourteenth day after voting the second round of the election is conducted, with the two candidates having received more votes to be running in it. If a candidate withdraws in the second round, then it is the candidate who has received the next highest number of votes in the first round of the elections who participates in the second round instead of him/her; if there is no such candidate, then only one candidate runs in the second round.

2. The candidate, who has received more votes in the second round, is considered as elected.

3. In the event of one candidate running, he/she is considered as elected, if he/she has received more than half of the votes cast.
