In line with the previous Joint Opinion, in March 2008, the threshold to qualify for the allocation of parliamentary proportional seats was reduced from 7 per cent to 5 per cent (Article 105.6). The provision was also amended to clarify that invalid votes cast were not to be considered in the calculation of the threshold.
