Article 49, par. 2, as amended in November 2007, expands the PEC’s duty to notify voters of the time and location of voting. The old requirement that “the PEC notifies voters of the time and place of voting not later than 2 days prior to election-day” was thus expanded, enhancing the right of voters to be informed, which is a positive development.
