It should also be noted that the Parliament of Moldova has 101 members, all elected in a single constituency in a proportional list system. The system allows for independent candidates. There is a Representation Threshold of 6% for parties, 9% for blocks (pre-election coalitions) consisting of two parties, and 12% for blocks of three of more parties. For independent candidates the threshold is 3%.
