Candidates’ lists may not be modified once they have been submitted, except within the time limit contemplated in the preceding section for rectification of irregularities and only in the event of death or resignation of a candidate or as a result of rectification itself.
Where a candidature consists in a list of candidates, any drops outs after proclamation shall be deemed to be covered by the successive candidates and, as the case may be, by the alternate candidates.
