L. Election campaign provisions
A violation of the requirement to identify the source of print campaign material indicated in Article 52(2) may lead to deregistration of a candidate under Article 53(8). The Venice Commission and the OSCE/ODIHR previously recommended that Article 53(8) be amended, as deregistration is an unreasonable sanction for violation of Article 52(2). This recommendation remains unaddressed.
