III. DISCUSSION OF THE DRAFT NATIONAL ELECTIONS LAW AND THE DRAFT ELECTION COMMISSIONS LAW
F. Collection of signatures for presidential candidacy
The validity of all signatures should be checked up until the point that it is established that there are sufficient valid signatures or that there are no more signatures to check. The Venice Commission and OSCE/ODIHR recommend that the procedure for verification of support signatures be revised, taking into consideration international good practice and the benefits of requiring a uniform procedure for all election commissions that can be evaluated objectively by candidates and observers.
