Scope of possible restrictions on suffrage
According to the case law of the European Court of Human Rights, a provision which imposes a blanket restriction on all convicted prisoners is not compatible with Article 3 of Protocol No.1. Considering modifying the wording of Article 30 is therefore welcome.
