General Preliminary Remarks A

The Venice Commission is aware of the fact that several meetings have already been held with political parties and that discussions should continue with political parties and with the public. The Venice Commission welcomes this approach and encourages the Armenian authorities to continue on this path in order to clarify any possible misunderstanding on the aim of the reform and give it a better chance to succeed.
