Article 125. Election Procedure of the President of the Republic
The President is elected by a College of Electors. The mode of election of the President is a political issue to be decided at national level. The most that can be said is that election by an electoral college might open the way to such behind-the-scenes manipulations which could endanger the authority and legitimacy of the institution.
