Article 133
 

133.1. The Institute will be in charge of creating and administering the registry of voters and the list of voters.


133.2. The Institute will issue the guidelines in which the time limits and terms for the use of the registry of voters and the lists of voters in the local electoral processes are established.


133.3. It is the duty of the Institute and of the Local Public Bodies to provide the necessary assistance to the Mexican citizens residing abroad to take the steps that allow them to be part of the Registry of Voters and of the list of voters for the corresponding elections from abroad.


133.4. The Institute, through the respective commission, the Executive Directorate of the Federal Register of Voters and the national monitoring body, will verify the registration of the Mexican citizens residing abroad in the Registry of Voters to create the list of voters both on federal and local level.


133.5. The monitoring bodies of the Registry of Voters will mainly be integrated by representatives of the national political parties.
