Article 300
 

300.1. To ensure the order and guarantee the development of the Election Day, the public security forces of the Federation, of the states and of the municipalities or, where applicable, the armed forces, should provide the assistance that is required by the bodies of the Institute, the Local Public Bodies and the presidents of the directive bodies of the polling stations, in the field of their respective competencies, according to the provisions of this Law.


300.2. The day of the election and the previous day, the competent authorities, according to the legislation that exist in every state, may establish measures to limit the hours of service of the establishments that serve intoxicating drinks.


300.3. The day of the election only the uniformed members of the public forces in charge of the order can carry weapons.
