11.1. The citizens’ organization that aims to become a political party to obtain its registration before the Institute in the case of national political parties, or before the corresponding Local Public Body in the case of local political parties, should inform the corresponding authority of this intent in the month of January of the year after the election of the President of the United Mexican States in the case of national registration, or of Governor or Chief of Government of the Federal District in the case of local registration.

11.2. From the time of the notice referred to in the previous paragraph and until the decision on the validity of the registration, the organization will inform the Institute of the source and use of its resources every month within the first ten days of each month.
