Article 39
 

A person may be candidate for a councillor only on one candidate list and only in one electoral district. A person may be candidate for an MP only on one candidate list.


A single candidate list shall contain at least 2/3 candidates and at the most as many candidates as are being elected.


As an exception to para.3 of this Article, there may be at least 1/3 and at the most as many candidates as are being elected on the candidate list for election of members of parliament submitted by groups of voters or political parties which represent a minority nation or a minority ethnic community.


The candidate list submitting entity shall determine the order of candidates on the list.
