A decision shall be taken on a written application as soon as possible. A decision on an oral application shall be taken immediately.
An application shall be refused only if the applicant was not registered as a voter on nomination day, if he has been given permission to vote by proxy in accordance with division 2 of chapter L, or if he has been authorised to vote by post.
If the application is not processed or is refused, the applicant shall be notified in writing immediately, giving the reasons for the decision.
Section D 9 shall apply mutatis mutandis to a decision as referred to in this section.
