Section V6

  1. If the assembly to which an appointment has been made decides not to admit one or more persons on account of an invalid poll in one or more polling stations or provinces, the presiding officer shall immediately notify Our Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations in the case of an election to the House of Representatives or Senate, the provincial executive in the case of an election to a provincial council, and the municipal executive in the case of an election to a municipal council.

  1. A new poll shall be held no later than the thirtieth day after this notification has been received, in the polling stations or provinces referred to in subsection 1, and the result of the election shall be determined anew. The date of the vote shall be determined by Our Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations in the case of an election to the House of Representatives or Senate, by the provincial executive in the case of an election to a provincial council, and by the municipal executive in the case of an election to a municipal council.

  1. During this determination, a person who has already been admitted as a member shall remain elected, even if it proves that the election was incorrect. The candidate who would have been elected if the person admitted had not been declared elected shall then drop out.
