The House of Representatives shall examine as soon as possible whether the appointee may be admitted as a member of the European Parliament pursuant to national legislation.
Sections V 1 to V 10 shall apply mutatis mutandis, on the understanding that where they refer to the representative assembly or the assembly to which the appointment has been made, this shall be taken to mean the House of Representatives.
